As per IEC 466-05-03, bundles of the line are arranged horizontally but center elements are slightly higher or lower, on their support. It covers at least two patterns:

  • Left and right bundles are on a strict horizontal axis and middle elements slightly shift up or down.
  • Bundles are along an oblique axis forming an angle of less than 45° with the horizontal.

Left and right bundle share the same horizontal axis while the central one is slightly raised: it's a semi-horizontal arrangement.
