The tag man_made=compressor is used to map a 
compressor used to increase the pressure of a gas by reducing its volume.
Compressors are commonly used to pressurize natural gas produced at a petroleum (oil and gas) well, often at a compressor station [1], to enable it to be transmitted via a pipeline. For further details, see (PetroWiki).
