Conversion of ö|Ö and ü|Ü for turkic languages

Conversion of ö|Ö and ü|Ü for turkic languages would be better accomplished using the following table.

Original Converted
ö o
Ö O
ü u
Ü U

The town Ürgüp would then show up as Urgup - not germanic Uerguep. --katpatuka 18:29, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

The problem is that GroundTruth doesn't really know in which language the name=Ürgüp is written (from my point of view methods like determining the language from the geographical location are not really practical and accurate for various reasons). So I guess the best option would be to have a separate characters conversion tables for German language and separate tables for various Turkic languages (since from what I read on Wikipedia, they do not share the same alphabet). --Breki 17:57, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
maybe the alphabet in general differs, but there is only one unicode character for the U-umlaut http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ü -- Jekader 12:45, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
