@99 tabazan,@Zimtschnecke: I do not understand what to do here. Could you explain, please? --Chris2map (talk) 07:31, 7 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I'd just delete this page. --99 tabazan (talk) 08:27, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@99 tabazan: Fine by me if you insist. However, I think all data items should have acutal created pages at their sitelink. I updated the page, have a look if this is fine by you? -- Zimtschnecke (talk) 16:28, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@99 tabazan: Do you mean having the page Tag:not:school:CH-GE=collège instead? --Chris2map (talk) 16:35, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I think this is sufficient: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Item:Q23767&diff=prev&oldid=3046170 . --99 tabazan (talk) 21:41, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
In my assessment, the possibilities outweigh the superfluity: The key is in use, there is a data item, and we are able to access / document / describe / discuss the use with this page. --Chris2map (talk) 07:44, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Neither being in use nor having a data point element requires the creation of Key:not:school:CH-GE. Given the many pages that are missing, I wonder why this insistence. Some mappers don't ensure tags they are using are reasonably explained and some more commonly and less obvious tags lack proper pages.
In this case, the dynamic page was IMHO superior to two empty templates added [1]. This approach wont even work in Taginfo.
When creating new pages, one should try to make sure that it's as good as the dynamic page.
For this "not:" key, the values are better discussed on Talk:Key:school:CH-GE. It's regrettable that the URL was deleted from the data point element.
Instead of deleting this, we could redirect it to Key:school:CH-GE.
I would appreciate if you, Zimtschnecke, would refrain from creating empty pages for tags for which I created data elements going forward.
In any case, please ensure at least that what we had isn't replaced by "possibilites". 99 tabazan (talk) 11:00, 15 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
