Can the wiki page use Software template please?

@RobinJulien: Please use Template:Software/doc to provide at least the basic information about the software. One can click on "Edit source" at e.g. StreetComplete or Mapy.cz to get a feeling how it should look like. That makes it easy to find and compare software, and provides easy to use overview. Let me know if you need help with it! --mnalis (talk) 19:01, 16 June 2024 (UTC)

Hey what kind of information? Just basic info like front end in Flutter? or link to the code? Or how the app works? For the moment we haven't put our code as open source, but will probably do this in the future and link the Git to our wiki page. --RobinJulien (talk) 21:10, 16 June 2024
@RobinJulien: add whatever information you have, the more - the better. Click "edit source" on Mapy.cz for about the minimals (e.g. name, web, license, price, screenshot, platform, app ids on play stores) and Template:Software/doc for features it supports (i.e. see sections there: Maps/Routing/Navigating/Track logging/Editing...). If you know more information mentioned in that Software template, it is even better, of course! If the source code is not available yet, feel free to set license as "proprietary (working on opensourcing all/some of it)". Then when it becomes public it can be updated add repository link added too. (also, note that OSM wiki works much better with "Edit source" than visual editor, otherwise it misses adding signatures and ordering on talk pages so it is hard to follow who said what, doesn't allow you to notify other users, can't use templates etc. It's not so scary, so give it a try by looking at existing pages, and feel free to ask here if you get stuck!) --mnalis (talk) 00:56, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
Can you help me with adding this info to the page? Author: On Wheels and Icapps. Platform: IOS and Android. Status: active. Price: free. Install: https://qrco.de/onwheelsapp. Programming language: Flutter. License: proprietary (working on open sourcing). Features: maps, routing, editing. --RobinJulien (talk) 12:48, 17 June 2024
I have added basic software block, let me know if something looks wrong in that new infobox on top-right side of the wiki page --mnalis (talk) 21:06, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
