Description is wrong: used to map individual houses, not the whole terrace

The description which seems to be pullsed from building=terrace says "This tag can be used in addition to building=house to map the outline of a row of houses which form a terrace." However, I have not seen this tag used it that way. Instead it is always used for individual house in a terrace, identical to house=terraced. See for example: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/11wZ-- and note they are almost all in Ireland: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/11x0 Jeisenbe (talk) 07:22, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

I think the original description was correct and this new definition would not be usual in British English. A row of joined houses is a "terrace", with the individual house being a "terraced house". If it is being used as you describe, then that is most likely an error.Casey boy (talk) 08:39, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
I note that the building=terrace wiki matches up with my description (and hence disagrees with this edit). I'm going to make a note on the page that the usage of this tag is disputed. Casey boy (talk) 09:34, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
I decided to revert your edit since it is considered incorrect in British English. However, I have also edited the page to now make it clear that both house=terrace and house=terraced are currently being used for the same feature (even if this is generally incorrect). Hopefully this clarifies the situation. Casey boy (talk) 09:56, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
