Approach 7

Now that we have yet a new way to tag Forests and forestry areas, we need to add an "Approach 7" to Forest. --ZeLonewolf (talk) 19:38, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

+1. Also comments on the landuse=forest to say that this tag maybe preferred to tag real land use rather than land cover. Warin61 (talk) 00:26, 29 April 2021 (UTC)

Popularity/Usage

This tag is used a very few times (some ~200 May 2021). There are some ~35,000 uses of produce=timber each of which has the potential to be tagged landuse=forestry. I am slowly adding some in Australia. Warin61 (talk) 01:17, 29 April 2021 (UTC)

The usage is small as the tag is not 'publicized' on the wiki. It could be mentioned on the page for landuse=forest and possibly some other pages. Warin61 (talk) 01:17, 29 April 2021 (UTC)
