back-to-back frequency converters

How do we tag this on converters for rail between 50Hz and 16.67Hz? Maybe a change similar to voltage on transformer using primary and secondary is a good idea. Gazer75 (talk) 02:47, 20 October 2019 (UTC)

This is a currently discussed point on traction substations proposal. It seems that a transformer-like model be prefered for such devices. Examples should be added later to this page or particular converter=* values. There is not so much public database to be copied about power converters actually. I confirm this is surveyable from ground or from aerial imagery due to particular shapes or line topologies in converters' surroundings. Fanfouer (talk) 06:33, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
