A bent piece of metal attached to the ground. Makes it possible to lock a wheel to it. There can be many types of hoops with various forms, but the main characteristic is that a lock cannot be removed unless it is opened (not like a bollar). Hoops can be alongside the parking lot like for bicycles, or on the edge closer to the wheel. Usually, hoops are not as high as for bicycles. | |

A simple bollard, straight with no hoops. A lock can be removed from it when slid to the top. But it can be a better-than-nothing security, as motorcycles are heavy and locks cannot be slid because of the weight. | |
