The tag ramp:length=* is used to indicate the length of a ramp. The length is defined as the distance along the direction of travel. As with all distance tags, the value is in meters.

Usage

Add ramp:length=* to an element with ramp=*.

This tag is most useful for portable ramps located e.g. at a railway platform (see ramp:portable=*). For ramps on highway=steps the length can usually be derived from the geometry of the way. The only exception are ramps that zigzag next to the stairs, but are still mapped as a feature of the stairs (i.e. the ramp is not separately mapped).

Example

We are missing example pictures for this tag. Please help us to improve the wiki and add your photos!
