Main Roads IN Azerbaijan

As you said this, I think you have done these raods. And if you have no GPS, How do you do this? --Navid.k 18:36, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Ofcourse not, but I want to know how do you know the exact ways? I've used yahoo images but I could not find the ways. --Navid.k 11:26, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Potlatch/Translation

Anadili Türkçe olmayan birisi için çok iyi bir çeviriydi. Bazı yerleri düzelttim ve İngilizce bıraktıklarını çevirdim. Tekrar eline sağlık. --Vikici 23:21, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

About the double and triple roads near Chaiten

I checked them, those triple roads are from the import of national government data, I don't have time to fix them, I suppose the guy who first made them will fix them

Edits on Tag:waterway=riverbank

Hi, you changed waterway=riverbank to recommend that it be tagged as natural=water so it gets rendered at zoom 6. I reverted this.

natural=water is meant for lakes, not riverbanks. If you want riverbanks to be rendered at zoom 6 please file a bug against mapnik or whatever renderer you're not happy with instead of recommending that people tag things incorrectly, thanks. --Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason 15:04, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

About uppermost category

from Ceyockey — While reviewing Special:UncategorizedCategories, I saw that you created Category:OpenStreetMap in December 2010 with the descirption of it as the 'uppermost category'. There is already an uppermost category, Category:Categories and I'm curious about whether this is part of a category reorganization across the wiki or not. Thanks. (15:09, 17 January 2011 (UTC))

follow-up — There is a child-category of Category:Categories where the humor category could go, that being Category:Fun Stuff. (15:40, 17 January 2011 (UTC))

hourglass

Thank you! That looks good. Although a featured image would be better. ;-)

Oh, could you please add your sources to the image File:Openstreetmap logo hourglass.svg? I guess it may also not be public domain. --Aseerel4c26 (talk) 15:04, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Danke ;-)
Quellenangabe hab' ich hinzugefügt... --katpatuka (talk) 10:36, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
Happy mapping! --Aseerel4c26 (talk) 11:38, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

place_of_worship:type

Dear Katpatuka, in discussion with Jgpacker and Mateusz Konieczny I have undone the addition of "place_of_worship:type" to the "Tag:amenity=place of worship" page.

This key has been insufficiently discussed and collides or interfers with other tagging of PoWs, such as building, which also describes the type, and has values that are not PoWs (conference is not a place, meeting_house does not fit). It is also full of proposal language from the talk page.

If you still feel the need for the key than follow the Wiki proposal process as a separate page, and discuss in the tagging mailing list. --Polarbear w (talk) 19:49, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for your comment on my talk page, I have moved that to the PoW talk page so it is easier to follow. Please note that I am not against the type key in principle, we were just of the opinion that it has open issues for discussion and was immature for the main page, thus not be prescribed for use on every PoW. Feel free to tag those flags if it fits. How do you map them, as points, ways, areas? --Polarbear w (talk) 21:33, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
