Move to proposal namespace?

It appears that this tag has never been used: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/XQR

I would recommend moving this page to Proposed_features/Key:park:public_level instead. --Jeisenbe (talk) 04:53, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

I'm not saying yes or no (I'm a minor, recent contributor, not the original author), but it is set to status=draft. What is the difference between that and what you are suggesting? (I mean, I can read and parse the meanings of "proposed features" and "status=draft" but is there a meaningful difference?) Stevea (talk) 07:40, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
I think to avoid the appearance of making this proposed usage seem established (draft tag aside), I think it's fair that it belongs in the Proposed_features namespace, rather than the main namespace. ZeLonewolf (talk) 17:57, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
Also, I should add that many proposals are posted under Proposed_features and sit untouched for years, so it's not as if putting this page there actually initiates any particular proposal process. ZeLonewolf (talk) 17:59, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
Makes sense. I agree that both "proposed features" and "status=draft" are true. It's rather skeletal, that seems OK to me. On a related note, there is a nearly-simultaneously-proposed almost-like-this proposal at Proposed_features/Public,_Protected,_and_Restricted_Lands. Stevea (talk) 02:23, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

I am partial to this proposal to the other one, if I had to choose between one and the other. (And I'm not saying anybody has to, at least yet). Using numerical values (from admin_level) seriously leverages existing understanding of what this proposes. Plus, as I mention in its Discussion, the other one suffers from a USA-centric view that does not scale well internationally. I pay attention to both, I continue to examine the other one for value it can add to strengthen things. Stevea (talk) 04:04, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
No pride in ownership. I'm just happy that the broader discussion seems to be starting. The more ideas people put out, the better the chance that we can combine together the best of breed. ZeLonewolf (talk) 04:17, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
