  • shop=electronics - a shop selling electronics. The suggested distinction is that a shop=electronics shop is "primarily focused on consumer electronics, and may sell hi-fi components, but is not focused on them and not a meeting point for audiophiles". However that's quite a subtle and subjective distinction, and something which may be better represented as a property tag of a shop=electronics.
  • shop=music - a shop selling recorded music which you might buy to play on your hifi (CDs, vinyl, or other formats) A.K.A. a record shop.
  • shop=musical_instrument for musical instrument shops. Note that many musical instrument shops also sell some sheet music or recorded music. Make a judgement on what the 'primary' shop type is.
