The crossing:signed=* key indicates whether a pedestrian, bicycle, equestrian, or similar crossing has warning signs to alert oncoming motor vehicles to the crossing's presence. This is similar to the purpose of flashing_lights=*. The two are sometimes found on the same sign post, but some crossings only have signs and no flashing lights.
Values
crossing:signed=yes– One or more warning signs are present at the crossing.crossing:signed=no– No warning signs are present at the crossing.
