traffic_signals:override_indicator=* may be used in combination with highway=traffic_signals to give details about the existence and type of override indicators present at a traffic signal.

Override indicators are additional traffic signals mostly installed at crossings in conjunction with "normal" red/yellow/green traffic signals. Normally they light up when a bus, tram or other type of public transport vehicle is standing in front of them and indicate that the traffic signal circuit for this crossing has switched to a special mode which prioritises the direction which the public transport vehicle is coming from in order to help adhere to the timetable and reduce red phases for public transport.

How to map

When the override indicator is installed in conjunction with other traffic signals add traffic_signals:override_indicator=* to each traffic signal-node. However, if the traffic signal tag is placed on the intersection node but not each direction has an override indicator don't add this tag and consider tagging each traffic signal as a separate node rather than having only one.
