Key:utm

This tag is used to record the coordinates of an object in UTM format. A typical UTM coordinate has the form utm=32U 520000 5300000.

The tag should only be added if there are specific coordinates attached to the object. For example the precise coordinates given on a man_made=survey_point or those given on a plaque as common on a highway=emergency_access_point. It's not necessary to add this tag to any other object - the coordinates are already available from the placement of the object on the map and can be converted to any coordinate system if necessary.
