La Palma is an island in Canary Islands, Spain at latitude 28°40′01.20″ North, longitude 17°52′01.20″ West.

Administratively it is in the Spanish province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Province). La Palma is famous for hiking.

  • maybe there was a change in the road naming/referencing scheme at La Palma.
    • While driving the LP-4 from Santa Cruz area over the Roque de Los Muchachos to Llano Negro area I found some old stones on the side of the road which had the road name LP-22 on it.
    • Additionally a lot of commercial maps and also some roads on the OSM data have a wrong numbering (wrong ref attribute)...
