State of the Map Asia 2013 didn't happen, but we first started putting together ideas for State of the Map Asia, a regional conference for the asian continent, on this wiki page in 2013 after a successful international conference, State Of The Map 2012, held in Tokyo.
A mailing list was formed (State of the Map Asia Mailing List) and a /Call for Venues page was set up. Various expressions of interest, but organisation didn't quite com together in 2013, with the exception of a smaller conference State of the Map Philippines 2013
