Designed as a long speed hump with a flat section in the middle. The flat section is long enough for all wheels of a passenger car to fit on that section simultaneously. Does not slow as much as a hump and is usually used on roads with residential speed limit. Usually its height is the same as the adjacent sidewalk/footway. If the traffic calming represents a crossing for pedestrians, there should be added highway=crossing if it is mapped as a node.
Usually known as a raised pedestrian crossing, or a speed table.
May be confused with a bump or a hump which are shorter and lack a flat part (tagged with traffic_calming=bump and traffic_calming=hump, respectively).
