A wind farm or wind park is a group of wind turbines in the same location used to produce electricity. It usually has a name and is operated by an operator. The power delivered is the sum of the power of all wind turbines.

Offshore wind farm

For an offshore wind farm, draw the outline and add:

• power=plant
• plant:source=wind
• plant:output:electricity= xx MW
• name=*
• operator=*
• start_date=*

Wind farms ashore

A wind farm on land is the sum of all wind turbines. They are summarized with a relation of the type=site.

Create a relation and add the wind turbines as members without specifying a role.

Add the following tags:

• type=site

• plant:output:electricity= xx MW
• name=*
• operator=*
