Motocross is a form of off-road motorcycle racing held on enclosed off-road circuits.
Note: For a quad (ATV) race on an unpaved racetrack use sport=quadcross.
How to map
Since sport=motocross is a non-physical tag, it should be combined with other top-level tags; e.g.:
highway=raceway- A racetrack for motorised racing, e.g. cars, motorbikes, karts, etc.leisure=sports_hall- A sufficiently large single room that is suitable for practising sports indoors and does not have a "centre" character.leisure=sports_centre- A sports centre is a distinct facility where multiple sports take place within an enclosed area (multiple rooms, pitches or combination).leisure=stadium- A major sports facility with substantial tiered seating.shop=sports- A shop selling sports equipment and clothing.club=sport- A club for the purpose of playing or supporting one or more sports.

Note
Until March 2024, it was recommended to use leisure=pitch for the site. However, as the entire site is not a pitch, but a sports ground, it has been changed. See also sport=motor accordingly.
