Rowing is a water sport in which the rider(s) sits facing backward in a light, narrow boat and uses oars attached to the craft to propel it. This tag is used to mark a physical feature related to rowing, e.g. indicates that a sport facility is for rowing.
Note: For rowing at a gym or fitness station, use sport=indoor_rowing. For recreational rowing boat rental, use amenity=boat_rental + rowboat_rental=yes.
How to map
Since sport=rowing is a non-physical tag, it should be combined with other top-level tags; e.g.:
