Rugby league or rugby league football is a full-contact ball sport played between teams of 13 players on a large rectangular pitch with H-shaped goals at both ends.
Note: There are two forms of rugby, the other being sport=rugby_union. If you are not sure which version of rugby is played, use the tag sport=rugby and leave it to someone else to correct the details.
How to map
Since sport=rugby_league is a non-physical tag, it should be combined with other top-level tags, e.g.:

A pitch
If there is some physical outline of the pitch or painted line markings, draw an area around it and add leisure=pitch and sport=rugby_league. If it is not possible to draw the exact shape of the pitch, place a node at its centre. For a smaller rugby league pitch consider use leisure=practice_pitch and sport=rugby_league.

Despite the two different pitch sizes since the removal restrictions on professionalism by the RFU in 1995, it has been possible for clubs to share facilities including pitches. So it maybe best to use sport=rugby for all of these.
