Term of office starts when?

New 'Officers & Board' people were elected at the Foundation/AGM07, but was that also the start date (aug 11th) of their term of office? Probably should be stated somewhere (unless I've missed it) -- Harry Wood 16:45, 3 September 2007 (BST)

Looks like the formatting is messed up?

Under governance, I can't figure out what's wrong with it, but the yellow ones aren't showing up well. They say stuff like "style="background:#FF4; font-weight:bold; text-align:center;"|term extended" --Marion Barry (talk) 18:31, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Seems fixed by now Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 07:39, 22 June 2023 (UTC)

Article title

Anyone know why the title of the article is "Foundation" and not "OpenStreetMap Foundation"? The former is rather ambiguous. Not to mention it's officially called "OpenStreetMap Foundation" everywhere that I've seen, not "Foundation." I see that @Harry Wood: redirected OpenStreetMap Foundation to this title in 2007. Maybe he can provide an opinion about it? If not, I'll probably change it if no one else has any objections. --Adamant1 (talk) 06:43, 8 November 2022 (UTC)

In favour of the change. CRaIgalLAn (talk) 07:46, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
This seems like a sensible and uncontroversial change, and I was about to enact it, but the page has 348 subpages. Do they all need to be renamed, and do we have tool that will do that? Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing); Andy's talk; Andy's edits 15:21, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
I think I did tend to encourage shorter page naming which omits the word "OpenStreetMap" where people have tended to throw that in unnecessarily. In this case I can see the point that it's an organisation name mind you.
Then again... yeah it's a lot of sub pages.
