Is medical_supply=only useless?

This tag can't be used for a pharmacy or a chemist (otherwise it would not be an amenity=pharmacy nor a shop=chemist but a shop=medical_supply instead) and has no reason to be used for a shop=medical_supply because without more indication we suppose that the shop sells only medical supplies. (And if it is not the case the indication of what other good is sold imply that the shop doesn't only sell medical_supply)

Do I miss something or does this indication can be removed? Keima (talk) 20:57, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

Think you missed this in terms of logistics=* https://youtu.be/73rUjrow5pI rtfm Rtfm (talk) 12:49, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
Can you explain your thought, please? I don't understand your message. Keima (talk) 18:59, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
Your statement above seems to mean that only a couple of instances may be related to medical supply and I wanted to give you an example that there are much more complex situations where the indication might make sense which kind of medical supply is meant.rtfm Rtfm (talk) 22:10, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
My statement refers to the situations given in the introduction. If they are more they should be added. And I don't see the link between the logistics=* and this page. Keima (talk) 07:24, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
That's why I linked above to this logistics=* example : https://youtu.be/73rUjrow5pI. This means logistics and medical supply may be combined (and important in a humanitarian point of view). Rtfm Rtfm (talk) 15:36, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
The reason you can't see a connection is because there isn't one. What tags should be used in certain situations doesn't come from random YouTube videos either. RTFM just likes to bring up and recommend tags that he knows are garbage and not relevant to anything. So he fragment existing tagging schemes. Anyway, I would say that yes medical_supply=only is useless. Especially on somewhere that's already tagged as shop=medical_supply. Since it's essentially just a duplicate, unnecessary tag at that point. --Adamant1 (talk) 19:19, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
