Where this tag is used

It would be useful to describe where this is supposed to be tagged. I guess that at location where this club has its headquarters? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 07:12, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

It would make sense to begin with the most common tags and to differentiate between club and leisure. A bit strange that there are so little tennis and golf players among OSM editors, or at least not in clubs

"A bit strange that there are so little tennis and golf players among OSM editors." Tennis aside, the reason club=golf is so low is because most of the usage is as golf=clubhouse. That's where the basic research before you make presumption about OSM editors or assume tags are being used a certain way or not come in.
