move to discourage use of this tag

This tag seems to be used very little and the description is very vague. In all situations i could imagine there are other better suited tags that are more widespread and more precise than this - most notable natural=wetland+wetland=bog, natural=heath, natural=grassland and natural=fell.

If there are no objections i would like to add a prominent suggestion to the page to use one of the alternative taggings above.

I tend to agree. Moor(land) looks like a collective term used by the British for heaths, grasslands and bogs sharing low vegetation. Even the moorland article on Wikipedia is so messy and confusing that the term is just untranslatable. We should include a banner template asking for clarification, or discourage the use of this tag. --Fkv (talk) 11:40, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
