You can create a new uMap as an anonymous user (no need to create an account) or as a logged user (needs to register).

Step 1 : Click "Create a map"

A new map is going to be created, it will open in "Edit" mode".

Step 2 : Save

The "Save" button is at the top of the window, on the right.

Step 3 : Find your uMap

Case 1 : You didn't create an account

A message providing your "secret link" appears on the top of the window. It will allow to edit your map later.

Do not lose this link : if you lose it, you won't be able to edit your uMap

Case 2 : You create an account (registered user)

You can find your map in the "My maps" tab on the home page of uMap.
