Cell sites (towers used for providing communication signals to mobile phones) man_made=tower; tower:type=communication; tower:construction=freestanding; (optional operator=name of company operating tower/cellsite) Although man_made=mast is rendered in Mapnik, man_made=tower is recommended since it is widely used.
Fire hydrants emergency=fire hydrant; amenity=fire hydrant Use both tags, not one or the other.
Kilometer markers man_made=milestone man_made=km_marker is used in certain instances. However, man_made=milestone is more or less adopted by the OpenStreetMap community. Important note: a milestone should be a node inside a way.
