A craft brewery is a small, independent establishment that makes beer by traditional methods.

For industrial breweries that produce beer in large quantities, use landuse=industrial + industrial=brewery or man_made=works + product=beer.

Note: In France and the Francophone world, a brasserie is a type of French restaurant with a relaxed setting, which serves single dishes and other meals. Such establishments should be tagged as amenity=restaurant, amenity=cafe or similar. The word brasserie is also French for "brewery" and, by extension, "the brewing business".

If a restaurant, pub or similar feature has a microbrewery you can add microbrewery=yes.

How to map

Set a node node or draw an area area representing the brewery and add craft=brewery.
