紹介: OpenHistoricalMap (OHM) (http://www.openhistoricalmap.org) は、 OSM のソフトウェアスタックを基盤に、オープンソースで、ユーザーが編集可能な歴史的地図を構築しようというプロジェクトです。このプロジェクトのゴールは世界で最も普遍的で詳細な過去の地図を作成することです。OHMでは、OSMが得意とする、水域、政治的境界線、建物、ウェイ、POIといった地理オブジェクトに焦点を当ててマッピングします。将来的には別の切り口で、歴史的な行動、出来事、人々、持ち運び可能な地物なども視野にしています。

To contribute to OpenHistoricalMap, go to OHM本番環境, zoom in to a place of interest, and click the "Edit" button. If you are familiar with editing OpenStreetMap, the OpenHistoricalMap editing experience is very similar. See the tagging guidelines for information on a few changes we've made to accommodate the time dimension.

We also maintain several software projects to facilitate map contributions and data reuse. Please report any issues and send us your ideas on GitHub.

1828: The United States signs a treaty with the Choctaw Indians that establishes the eastern line of the Choctaw Session (the present Arkansas–Oklahoma state line) and affirms Choctaw control of the area west of the line. As a result, Indian Territory gains territory from four counties of Arkansas Territory.
1861: Arkansas secedes from the United States and joins the Confederacy.
1913: The Osaka City Tram system’s Utsubohonmachi Line begins service.
1923: In Toulouse, a memorial is dedicated to casualties of war from the Saint-Aubin and Dupuy districts.
1994: The Channel Tunnel opens, connecting England and France across the Strait of Dover.
1998: In Kazakhstan, Akmola is renamed Astana.
2009: A U-turn lane opens along the C-5 road in Manila.
