license plate (aka number plate). The authentication mechanism is typically used in parking, e.g.
- on car parks, where license plates are recognized automatically on entry (
surveillance:ALPR=yes), or - in street parking, where the license plate needs to be entered in an app or on a ticket machine for authentication (and, in case of
fee=yes, payment)
