1164: The Kingdom of Aragon and the County of Barcelona form a union.
1814: Realengo is established in Rio de Janeiro.
1954: The Hialeah Speedway begins operation in Hialeah, Florida.
1957: Leodegario Victorino Memorial High School, the predecessor to Marikina Polytechnic College, opens in Marikina.
1963: The Big Wheel restaurant opens in Valparaiso, Indiana.
1992: Dambeck, Brunow, Pampin, and Platschow are transferred from Brandenburg to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
