Background

Dhading District spreads from 27'40" E to 28'17" E and 80'17"N to 84'35"N.The district consists of 2 municipalities and 11 rural municipals. Among the two municipalities, Nilkantha is one. The municipality was established merging the existing Nilkantha (Dhading Besi) with Dhuwakot, Khalte and Jyamrung VDCs.
