The shop namespace suffix can be used to tag shops (or others) with services such as sales, parts, rental, repair, clothes, and which type of the product they offer.
By using this key suffix it is ensured that shops which offer several services (i.e. for cars / motorcycles / bicycles) may be described. For example a motorcycle shop which mainly offers motorcycle clothes but also parts isn't really a "clothes" shop. A Hotel might also rent cars, an electronics or doityourself shop sell robots.
