 This page describes a namespace rather than a simple tag.

The shop namespace suffix can be used to tag shops (or others) with services such as sales, parts, rental, repair, clothes, and which type of the product they offer.

shop=* key provide info about shop type, these tags may be used to provide some more detailed info.

By using this key suffix it is ensured that shops which offer several services (i.e. for cars / motorcycles / bicycles) may be described. For example a motorcycle shop which mainly offers motorcycle clothes but also parts isn't really a "clothes" shop. A Hotel might also rent cars, an electronics or doityourself shop sell robots.

How to tag

Add a namespace suffix to provide extra info

For example place selling used cars, repairing cars and renting cars can be tagged as:

Note that place repairing cars and renting cars can be tagged as:
