Dunes are a landform of sand hills, usually in desert regions or near lakes and oceans, or inland, covered with little or no vegetation.
Dunes can also form underwater by the action of waves and currents.[1]
Dunes occur in different shapes and sizes, formed by interaction with the flow of air or water. Dunes are characterized by blowing sand that abrades vegetation. Dunes can be natural, but also man made(artificial)[2][3][4].
