| Tools for this tag |
The tag historic=building has sometimes been added to a building=* feature to mark it as a non-specific "historic" building. There is no clear definition of what qualifies a particular building as historic.
How to map
Draw an area along the building outline. In cases where it is impossible one may set a node
instead. Tag it with
historic=building and building=*.
It is used in addition to building=*, not instead of it.
