For a building that was originally constructed as a chapel, use building=chapel. If religious services are still conducted in the chapel, use amenity=place_of_worship.

How to map

Draw an area along the building outline. In cases where it is impossible one may set a node instead. Tag it with historic=chapel.

If the building was originally built as a chapel add also building=chapel. If religious services are still conducted in the chapel, add amenity=place_of_worship.
