The natural=tree_row tag is used to identify a line of trees.

Rows of trees are often found along roadways, property lines, or at the edges of farms, serving as windbreaks (also known as "shelterbelts").

Tagging

Draw a way way and tag it with natural=tree_row.

The way should start at the center of the trunk of the first tree in the tree row, run through the following tree trunks' bases, and end at the center of the trunk of the last tree in the tree row.

Additional nodes may be added to the way at each tree trunk and these nodes may be tagged with natural=tree. This is not a necessary part of creating a valid natural=tree_row.
