A privately owned shop selling second hand goods, purely for the benefit of the owner (not for charity). Also known as a "resale shop" or "thrift shop" in some areas. A "consignment shop" is a specific type of second hand shop.

For shops where only one product is sold and/or where you also find new products, please use second_hand=* in combination with the proper shop=*.

How to map

Set a node node or draw the outline area of the building. Tag it with shop=second_hand and name=*.

Possible tagging mistakes

  • used=* ‒ some of the occurrences refer to word usage instead
If you know places with this tag, verify if it could be tagged with another tag.
