Croquet is a sport[1][2] or game that is played between two or more players embedded on a small (usually) grass court or pitch which involves hitting plastic or wooden balls with a mallet through hoops (often called "wickets" in the United States).
Note: This sport differs from sport=gateball, which is played by two teams of 5 players, with 5 red and white balls, 3 hoops and a peg.
