The tag water=drain is used with natural=water to map the water covered area of a waterway=drain: an artificial waterway, lined with concrete or similar, used to carry superfluous water. Should contain a waterway=drain way inside.

How to map

Draw the ditch area area outline.

If the ditch is very long, it must be divided into several segments.

Add natural=water and water=drain.

Also map a separate way way with waterway=drain in the direction of water flow.

Tags used in combination
