disused:amenity=* instead of operational_status
The tag amenity=hospital should only be used for operating medical centres, not for disused or abandoned facilities. If a hospital is in good condition but isn't operating, use disused:amenity=hospital - this tag has been used over 300 times. See: https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/disused%3Aamenity=hospital
For a hospital that has been abandoned and would require significant repairs to return to service, use abandoned:amenity=hospital.

Use standard key healthcare=* or amenity=* for separate features
Rather than proposing new namespaced keys like healthcare:equipment=*, please use the very common key amenity=* or the fairly common and approved key healthcare=* for mapping separate features. For mapping properties of a hospital (for example, is there an MRI at this hospital?) then using a new key is good, preferrably a simple key for each property, for example "mri=yes", "mri=no", "laboratory=yes", "laboratory=no" and so on. --Jeisenbe (talk) 00:49, 31 July 2019 (UTC)

- I like the prefix healthcare:facility because:
- it avoid any confusion (we talk about healthcare)
- facilty (a synonym of equipement) is more used in OSM

Urgent Care proposal
Besides emergency=* there is no further key to map the service of an amenity regarding urgency. So user Floridaeditor currently proposes to introduce urgent_care=*.
