The shelter=* tag is used to indicate the presence of an amenity=shelter associated with a feature, most commonly a public_transport=platform or highway=bus_stop.
Values
shelter=yes: A shelter exists, which may or may not be mapped separately.shelter=no: A shelter is not present.shelter=separate: A shelter exists and is mapped separately.
- Note that
separateis a rare value (compared toyes), although shelters are rarely mapped separately for the objects in question.
