Weightlifting is a recreational physical exercise in which people lift weights, often in the form of dumbbells, barbells, or machines. Strength training through weightlifting helps to maintain or increase muscle mass. It is not only a fundamental developmental element of many sports, but also part of a 
healthy lifestyle.
Note: sport=weightlifting tag should only be used for recreational weightlifting. For other similar sports or excersises use:
