What is a university ?
Institutions of higher education include universities, universities of applied sciences, colleges of art and music in public, private or ecclesiastical sponsorship. For each university there should be exactly one object with amenity=university. For a closed campus, this is an area 
, if the university spans multiple areas, a multipolygon 
.

The individual higher education institutions should not be tagged with amenity=university, but with :
