This key references a Norwegian business by its organisation number in Norway's Entity Registry. A enterprise resisted in the Entity Registry always has at least one sub-entity, and can have more than one sub entity if it has branches that have activities that falls under different industrial codes, or if it has branches at multiple locations. It is preferred to use the organisation number that's unique to a location, rather then the enterprise organisation number when using this tag.

An entity which is required to pay VAT also uses its organisation number for VAT identification, but as the organisation number number is not exclusively for VAT use it is tagged separately from ref:vatin=*, with the prefix "NO".
