The tag aeroway=launch_complex is used to map a complex of infrastructure within an aeroway=spaceport, consisting of aeroway=launchpad, tower:type=launch_tower, tower:type=lightning_protection, aeroway=flame_trench, highway=service roads, man_made=pipelines, building=*, etc.

How to map

• Create a closed way around the extent of the launch complex area within the area of the aeroway=spaceport.
• Add the tags landuse=industrial and aeroway=launch_complex
• Optional : add the operator=*, operator:wikipedia=*, operator:wikidata=* (in case of long term leasing or own infrastructure)

Possible errors

• A disused:*=* or abandoned:*=* launch complex should be tagged with the corresponding lifecycle prefix, the same applies for those proposed:*=*, planned:*=* or under construction:*=*.
• Only an aeroway=launch_complex for spaceflight should be tagged without suffix, for suborbital launches see :
