This tag is for buildings originally built as mortuary, also called a morgue. A place used for the storage of human corpses awaiting identification or removal for autopsy or disposal by burial, cremation or other method.
How to map
Draw an area
along the building outline. In cases where it is impossible one may set a node
instead. Tag it with building=monastery.
If the present usage of building is mortuary, then you can add amenity=mortuary.
