A plate is a really simple marker installed on a not dedicated support like a building wall. It indicates what is installed underground or indoor nearby most of the time.

This value doesn't cover situations where small plates are visible on a dedicated post, pedestal or stone.

How to map

Use marker=plate on a node node. Optionally specify operator=*, utility=*, colour=*, material=* and ref=*.

Depending on what's is actually written on it, you may use indication:*=* to report any related information about the designated infrastructure to avoid confusion with the marker's own properties.
